The Book of Tom

Rex, a highly intelligent yet socially deviant six year old, is sent to a mental hospital to rid him of the troubling voices he hears. After a successful three-year treatment, Rex returns to a normal, productive childhood. Ten years later, while in college, hallucinations appear with no clear explanation.

The Book of Tom follows Rex in search of these lost parts of himself. Old hand-written stories, therapy transcripts, school records, and former teachers and friends offer only pieces of his former self. Along the way, as he tries to recreate Tom and the other voices that no longer exist, Rex makes a radical discovery that changes everything.
