CL 48E Student Presentations
Due: Weeks 12-13
Each student will offer a 5-minute presentation (maximum) on her/his research paper as well as answer questions from the class. This will be a chance to share your research, as well as test your progress on your final paper
Your presentation should include the following:
A brief introduction to your question or problem (Why did you choose your particular short form?)
A brief discussion of secondary sources (what do others say?)
A brief discussion of your contribution (what makes your research unique?)
One or two examples
This is a general outline of a presentation. Your presentation can vary from this, but should include these elements. You can speak with notes, extemporaneously, or have a prepared text, or slides. Be sure to practice before you present (this includes using media, if you have it).
If you have questions, SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH INSTRUCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO DISCUSS YOUR PRESENTATION.
