Final Papers

The final project for this semester is to offer an analysis of a literary artefact through the lens of media studies. You will choose one of the literary artefacts on the syllabus and focus on how the medium influences that which we can interpret as "meaning."  If you have another idea, you must meet with me to obtain approval first. You will situate your analysis of of this artefact within the field of media studies by reviewing secondary literature, both on the artefact and your method. In order to receive feedback along the way, I have included a three step process: Proposal, First Draft, Final Draft. Your final draft will be due during finals week: 10 pages, Double Space, 12 pt., TNR Font, Normal Margins.
